Torrance, CA – Aztec Tents, one of the largest tent manufacturers in the U.S., has hired 20-year industry veteran Biff Gentsch as Director of Sales for the company’s Eastern Division. Gentsch will be charged with building and managing Aztec’s new sales force in the Eastern U.S., while maintaining Aztec’s stellar reputation for customer service.

With over two decades of experience in the tent industry, Gentsch is aptly qualified to lead Aztec’s expansion into new U.S. regions.

“Throughout my career in the tent and structure industry, I’ve always admired the values and philosophies employed by Aztec Tents,” Gentsch said. “The opportunity to work for Aztec was an irresistible one, and I’m extremely eager to get started. There’s certainly a lot of exciting and challenging work ahead of me.”

Gentsch joins Aztec Tents after a 20-year relationship with tent manufacturer Anchor Industries. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Colorado College in 1980 and entered management training with Amoco Production Company soon after. He also spent time as a stockbroker in Chicago and worked in the hospitality industry before joining Anchor Industries in 1987 as an in-house sales representative. He became an Independent Manufacturers Representative for Anchor in 1989.
